|February 15 and 16, 2014||Pigeon Lake Alberta Canada|
What started out as a fun race in March 2007 has now evolved into a professional race following the ISDRA rules that takes place in February at Pigeon Lake. This race is for racers of all abilities. New mushers can mingle and learn along side the more seasoned veteran mushers. There is even a category for junior mushers.
As we have evolved we have also added a charity to the event. Dogs with Wings are a non-profit organization that provides service and guide dogs for people in need.
The event allows everyone to experience a unique fun time with family and friends. It is a chance to get to know your inner musher and meet the dogs who live to run and play in the snow. Itís impossible not to feel the energy and excitement in the air of the dogs and their mushers as they prepare for their race.
Come join the barking, howling excitement from start to finish as these athletic dogs and their mushers do what they love best.
Bring your family, sip on a cup of hot cocoa and immerse yourself in the wonderfully exciting world of sled dog racing in the beautiful area of Pigeon Lake.
